Master of Educational Leadership

 The Australian Catholic University (ACU) offers a Master of Educational Leadership degree at the TCI Wellington site.  In the past ACU has also offered a Master in Religious Education at the CIT in Auckland.  

The Master of Educational Leadership is awarded by ACU and taught at TCI in Wellington.  As the qualification is awarded by an overseas university, graduates will need to individually apply to New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) for equivalance status.

About the Degree

It usually takes 2 1/2 years to complete the 8 papers that make up the degree
The papers are taught in Wellington in block courses during the school holidays
2 papers are taught in January
1 paper is taught in July
Students attend each block course for 4 full days
After the taught component, students have the semester to complete assignments
The next intake for this programme is July 2012
