As a first year teacher the Catholic Institute has supported me immensely.
Firstly the courses have provided me with essential professional development and built up my knowledge surrounding Religious Education content. The courses are perfectly tailored to our Religious Education curriculum and I have been able to pick and choose particular courses which are most pertinent to me and my class’s needs.
As well as this, going to the courses has been a great way to network with other Religious Education teachers around my city, both young teachers in the same position as me and more experienced teachers who are willing to give worthwhile advice.
It has been a great opportunity and I am excited to continue my diploma with the Catholic Institute in the future.
